Conditions of Use

For a delivery address in the UK, we use Royal Mail recorded delivery. Provided the goods are in stock, customers can expect delivery within 7 working days. Overseas parcels are sent by Royal Mail International Signed For or Airsure Small Packets. Overseas deliveries will take longer.

A signature will be required upon receipt.

We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make the order. However, please note that the delivery address of your first purchase must be the same as that which you registered with the online shop.

We reserve the right to withhold delivery to any particular place or location at our sole discretion.

The risk in delivery of the goods passes to you on the commencement of supply or transportation to you or, where you will not accept supply on the date of delivery, to temporary storage arranged by us or the postal / courier service making the delivery.

Cancellation of an order

You have the right to cancel your order any time up and including seven days after delivery.

For a full refund, you must contact us in writing (by email or by letter, see below), but not by telephone, within seven days, and goods must be returned unopened and in a re-saleable condition.

You will be responsible for the original shipping costs, and the cost of returning the goods. We cannot be liable for returned goods which are lost or damaged in transit, so please ensure you use a recorded delivery service and insure the items for their value.

You will receive a cheque from us or a credit will appear on your paypal account within thirty days of our receipt of the goods.

How to return goods

Goods returned to Doric Dragons must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt, order number, customer’s email address, phone number and delivery address. All goods should be sent recorded delivery, and must be insured for the full value of the contents. Doric Dragons cannot be responsible for lost or uninsured packages.

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

    • (a) we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
      (b) we do not deliver to your area
      (c) one or more goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
  • If we do cancel the contract we will notify you by email and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.

    We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

    All my yarn is dyed by hand, usually two or three skeins at a time, by me. The nature of hand-dyeing means that there will be variations in the dye distribution throughout the skein, such as spotting, blending and patches of colour, and this is an intentional part of the design of hand-dyed, multi-coloured yarns.
